Pop-up (noun)
A limited-edition portrait experience created within an exceptional location. Each Pop-Up begins with a space chosen for its beauty, light, design, and photographic possibilities. For one day, that location becomes the setting for a small collection of individually guided portrait sessions—then the experience moves on to somewhere new.
Now that you know what a Pop-Up is, let me tell you about this one.
During a recent private commission, I was introduced to a space in the heart of the Raleigh–Durham area that made my heart skip a beat. The moment I walked through the door, I knew I had to come back and create a Pop-Up experience here.
Floor-to-ceiling windows framed by dramatic curtains and soft sheers. Beautiful natural light. A modern sofa that can be moved to create completely different looks. Gorgeous opportunities for floor posing. And yes… a beautiful bed. It is the perfect blend of boudoir and feminine portraiture.
Because each Pop-up takes place for one day only, a limited number of session times are available.

Your session includes:
- A private pre-planning consultation
- Wardrobe guidance and session preparation

- A custom mood board created for your shoot
- A 40-minute fully guided portrait session
- Up to three looks
- A private image-selection appointment
- 10 fully retouched digital images
Because of the time constraints associated with Pop-Ups, hair and makeup are not included. You may arrive as polished, natural, or glamorous as you choose. Should you desire professional hair and makeup, recommendations are available upon request.
