A limited-edition portrait experience created within an exceptional location. Each Pop-Up begins with a space chosen for its beauty, light, design, and photographic possibilities. For one day, that location becomes the setting for a small collection of individually guided portrait sessions—then the experience moves on to somewhere new.
Now that you know what a Pop-Up is, let me tell you about this one.
During a recent private commission, I was introduced to a space in the heart of the Raleigh–Durham area that made my heart skip a beat. The moment I walked through the door, I knew I had to come back and create an exclusive Pop-Up experience here.
Floor-to-ceiling windows framed by dramatic curtains and soft sheers. Beautiful natural light. A modern sofa that can be moved to create completely different looks. Gorgeous opportunities for floor posing. And yes… a beautiful bed. It is the perfect blend of boudoir and feminine portraiture.
Because each Pop-up takes place for one day only, a limited number of session times are available.
Your session includes:
- A private pre-planning consultation.
- Wardrobe guidance and session preparation.
- Access to my studio wardrobe collection.
- A custom mood board created for your shoot.
- A 40-minute fully guided fine art portrait session.
- Up to three looks.
- A private Zoom image-preview and selection appointment.
- 6 fully retouched digital images
Because of the time constraints associated with Pop-Ups, hair and makeup are not included. You may arrive as polished, natural, or glamorous as you choose. Should you desire professional hair and makeup, recommendations are available upon request.
The Investment: $975
A $500 non-refundable and non-transferable retainer is required to select your time and reserve your session. The remaining balance of $475 will be invoiced on September 10, 2026, and is due upon receipt.
Applicable sales tax will be added to both payments.

PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTIST FOR WOMEN
I photograph women because I am one—and because I understand how easy it is for us to disappear inside the lives we are carrying.
My work lives somewhere between boudoir, beauty, and fine art, but the genre matters far less to me than the woman standing in front of my camera. I am not interested in transforming you into someone else. I want to photograph the woman who is already there—in a way that allows you to recognize her.

WHAT EXACTLY IS INCLUDED IN THE POP-UP EXPERIENCE?
Your experience includes a private pre-planning consultation, wardrobe guidance, access to the Shira W Rose Studios wardrobe collection, a custom mood board, a fully guided 40-minute portrait session, up to three looks, a private Zoom image-preview and selection appointment, and 6 fully retouched high-resolution digital images selected by you.
CAN I PURCHASE ADDITIONAL IMAGES?
Absolutely, although there is no obligation to upgrade. During your private image-preview and selection appointment, you will have the opportunity to purchase additional images and artwork if you choose.
WHEN WILL I SEE MY IMAGES?
My goal is to schedule your private Zoom image-preview and selection appointment within three weeks following your session. During this appointment, you will choose the 6 images included with your collection and have the opportunity to view any available upgrade options.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION AND RETAINER POLICY?
Because this is a limited, one-day event and the luxury location is secured in advance, all booking retainers and balance payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Reservations cannot be transferred to another person, event, or date.
If you are running late or experience an unexpected same-day delay, please contact me immediately. Your session may be shortened to protect the sessions scheduled after yours. If another opening is available later that day, I will do my best to accommodate you, but alternate availability cannot be guaranteed.
IS PROFESSIONAL HAIR AND MAKEUP PROVIDED?
Because of the time constraints associated with Pop-Ups, professional hair and makeup are not included. You may arrive as natural, polished, or glamorous as you choose. Trusted local artist recommendations are available should you wish to arrange professional services independently.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We will plan that together. Your experience includes wardrobe guidance, a custom mood board, and access to my studio wardrobe collection. During your pre-planning consultation, we will create a direction that feels personal to you and works beautifully within the space.
WILL MY IMAGES BE SHARED?
I understand the personal nature of boudoir and feminine portraiture. Upon delivery, you will be invited to identify the images you feel most comfortable having shared, and I will honor any privacy concerns you communicate.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
Yes—one female friend is welcome to join you with advance notice. Sorry, boys.
Your friend is there to support you and may not take photographs or videos during the session. Because our time together is limited to 40 minutes, she should also understand that her role is to encourage you without distracting from the creative direction or flow of your session.
