This experience meets you wherever you are—celebrating your feminine form through elegant boudoir, honoring your journey into motherhood through maternity, or creating fine art portraits that reflect your essence. You’ll be guided, styled, and held throughout a portrait journey that is artful, personal, and deeply affirming.

Why the Signature Experience?
At Shira W Rose Studios, we believe Feminine Portraiture is an exclusive investment in yourself—an intimate space where you're genuinely seen and celebrated. Our clients deserve complete access to the exquisite images captured during their session.
This work is offered as a complete, all-inclusive experience—intentionally designed without packages, tiers, or added decisions. The focus remains on you, your experience, and the art we create together.
The Signature Session Includes:
- Pre-session consultation and prep meeting.
- Mood board collaboration
- Access to the studio's beautifully curated wardrobe filled with gowns, bodysuits, lingerie & fabrics from all over the world.
- Fully styled and guided photo session
- Up to 3 hours of studio time w/ 5 wardrobe changes
- Professional natural photo retouching
- A full collection of professionally retouched high-resolution images (typically 45+) for personal use.
- Your choice of a 12 x 12 fine art album or a handcrafted Italian coffee table book.
Professional hair & makeup is available and arranged for you with a trusted artist ($200 paid directly the day of the shoot).

Fine Print: A $1,000 nonrefundable retainer is required to reserve your portrait date. The remaining balance is due no later than 10 days before your scheduled session. All retainers and payments are nonrefundable. Please see the rescheduling note below if you need to move your portrait date.

Destination Portrait Commissions
The Signature Experience may be created in a destination of your choosing. Whether there is a place you call home, somewhere holding personal meaning, or a setting you have always imagined being photographed within, we will thoughtfully shape the experience around you and the story we are creating together.
Additional travel and production costs are determined by the location and may include transportation, accommodations, and expenses specific to creating the portrait experience there. To inquire, email me directly at shira@shirawrose.com with “Destination Portrait Commission” in the subject line.

Signature Portrait Experiences are offered by limited commission, allowing me to give each woman and the art we create together my complete attention and care. Whether you are ready to reserve your experience or still have a few questions, this is where our conversation begins.
Photographing Women Through the Eyes of a Woman
You do not need to arrive knowing how to pose, what to wear, or how to feel comfortable in front of a camera. That is my work. You only need to arrive.
As a woman, I understand how easy it is to move through life without pausing long enough to see yourself. The Signature Portrait Experience creates that pause. I will thoughtfully guide you through every part of it—from what we imagine together to the portraits and artwork you will hold in your hands.

Meet Shira
I’m Shira W. Rose, a feminine portrait photographer and photographic artist creating intimate, artful portrait experiences for women.
I photograph women because I understand how much of our lives can pass without us pausing to truly see ourselves. My work—from elegant boudoir and fine art beauty to maternity and fine art nude portraiture—is created through the eyes of a woman and shaped by thoughtful guidance, connection, and care.
Alongside private portrait commissions, I create women’s portrait retreats that offer space to step away, return to yourself, and be photographed with intention.
Based in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, I work throughout the Triangle, offer select portrait dates in Charleston, South Carolina, and accept destination portrait commissions throughout the United States and beyond.
If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 10 days’ notice. Your payments may be transferred once to a new portrait date taking place within 90 days of the original date. Requests made fewer than 10 days before your session require a $500 rebooking fee.
