A feminine portrait experience—returning to yourself

Puerto Rico · November 11–15, 2026

Wellness retreat meets feminine portraiture.

A space to let it all go… and remember who you are.

________________________________________

There comes a moment when you realize you’ve drifted away from yourself.

Somewhere along the way, you inherited a story you did not write.

You learned to be who you needed to be. You kept going. You carried it.

And at some point… something in you begins to notice.

This is not about becoming someone new. It is a return.

A remembering of who you were before the noise, before the conditioning, before you learned to override yourself.

Your body knows. It always has.

When you pause long enough to listen, it will guide you back—to your own rhythm, your own truth, your own way of being.

Through portrait experiences, time in nature, and intentional moments woven throughout, you are invited to see yourself again—not as who the world told you to be, but as you are.

To be witnessed.

To be reflected.

To recognize yourself in a way you may not have before.

You are not here to disappear. You are not here to shrink.

You are here to remember.

The Experience

A sanctuary space to return to yourself. Through the reflection of portraiture. Three beautifully curated sessions to see yourself—heart and soul.

Dancing under the stars overlooking the ocean… laughter, playfulness… songs that take you back in time.

Sunset walks on the beach. Morning stretches.

Creative journaling… we might even color. And flower art too…

Moments by the pool. Space to just be.

Evenings over beautiful meals with women who get it. Connection that feels easy… natural. This… and so much more.

Restored. Renewed. Reclaimed.

Returning home, holding the pen—

to write the next chapter of your life.

Who is this experience for?

This experience is for the woman who feels something shifting. She may not have the words for it yet, but she knows she can’t keep moving the way she has been. She’s tired in a way sleep doesn’t fix. She’s poured into everyone else, held everything together, and somewhere along the way she lost connection with herself. She doesn’t need to be “fixed.” She doesn’t need another strategy. She needs space—to hear herself again, to feel herself again, and to see herself clearly. She’s ready to soften without losing her strength, to receive without needing to earn it, to remember who she is.

THE PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE

At the heart of this retreat is the opportunity to see yourself—not through the lens of who you’ve been told to be, but as you are.

Over the course of the retreat, you will be guided through three distinct portrait experiences, each designed to meet you in a different place.

There is nothing you need to perform.

Nothing you need to prove.

You will be gently guided throughout, allowing you to settle into yourself—into your body, and into your own presence.

A portrait becomes more than an image.

It becomes a visual love letter to yourself—

a remembering, a return.

Each session builds upon the last, creating a photographic journey that unfolds over time—one where you begin to see yourself, sometimes for the very first time.

Two Ways to Begin

This is an intimate experience, intentionally held in a small group. If something in you is responding… you’ll know. You can reserve your space below, or we can connect live and I’ll help you feel comfortable with the experience.

If you’re ready, select your preferred accommodation below to reserve your space.

This experience is intentionally intimate, with just 7 women.

There are only a few private and shared room options, so if there’s one you feel drawn to, I wouldn’t wait too long to claim it.

Airport + Travel Notes

Identification

U.S. citizens do not require a passport to travel to Puerto Rico, as it is a U.S. territory. Guests should plan to travel with a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or another TSA-accepted form of identification. If you already have a passport, bringing it is always a good idea.

Suggested Arrival

We recommend arriving the day before the retreat begins so you have time to settle in and arrive rested. If your schedule allows, extending your stay by a day or two afterward can be a beautiful way to integrate the experience before returning home.

Airport Options

Aguadilla (BQN)

The closest airport to Rincón and the easiest option logistically. Ideal for a smooth arrival and shorter transfer time.

San Juan (SJU)

Puerto Rico’s main airport with more flight options and potentially better pricing. The tradeoff is a longer drive to the retreat location.

Our Recommendation

If your flight options are comparable, we recommend Aguadilla (BQN) for the easiest overall experience. If airfare or routing is significantly better into San Juan (SJU), that can also work well—especially if you plan to arrive early or extend your stay.

The Women Behind This Experience

Meet Your Host

Shira W Rose

Photographic Artist for Women

Host + Founder of Love Letters

I’m a photographic artist devoted to the feminine—her body, her truth, and her right to define herself on her own terms.

Somewhere along the way, we inherited a story we did not write for ourselves. We learned to adapt, to carry, to quiet parts of who we are. And over time, we forget.

Through my work, I’ve witnessed a moment that happens again and again—when a woman sees an image of herself and asks, “Is that me?” As if she doesn’t recognize her own reflection.

Because this work is not about how you look. It’s about seeing yourself—fully. Not through the lens of expectation, but through your own.

I believe the body holds wisdom. Reconnecting to it is power.

Through portraiture and immersive experiences, I create spaces where that return can happen. My camera is simply the conduit.

This is not about becoming someone new. It is about remembering who you are.

FAQ

What does a typical day look like?

Portrait sessions take place in the morning, with space in between to reflect, journal, or simply be.

Afternoons are softer.

This is where we move into experiences that support inner reflection and gently releasing what no longer serves you.

There is also time to rest. No pressure. No packed schedule.

Meals are woven throughout the day, prepared by a private chef—fresh, nourishing, and intentional.

And in the evenings… we soften even more with a sound bath. Connection. Laughter. A little bit of play with dance party.

Think relaxed, elevated, a little bit like being with your closest friends.

This isn’t just a schedule.
It’s an experience you’ll carry with you long after you leave.

What does a photoshoot look like?

Over the three full days we’re together, you’ll be taken on a photoshoot journey—one each day.

Time is set aside for you to work with me one-on-one, so you can fully experience your own personal Feminine Portrait Session.

I guide you through every step. You’re not left wondering what to do or how to be.

And somewhere in that process… something opens. It’s freeing in a way most women don’t expect.

What should I bring for my photoshoots?

You won’t be left guessing. I’ll guide you.

For the first shoot, I’ll give you a simple direction—something like bringing a slip dress or one intentional piece that feels like you.

The second shoot is more minimal. I have most of what we’ll need, but we’ll collaborate beforehand so you can bring a few pieces that align with that stripped-back, natural vibe.

The third shoot is what we build toward.
This is where everything comes together. I will personally curate and style your wardrobe to reflect the most elevated version of you. Hair and makeup will be provided for this experience.

You don’t need to overpack.
We’ll create this together.

Do you have a question?

Vix ut utinam feugait. Eu scribentur liberavisse nec. Dico fugit nostro cu pri, no putent nemore mel, ius at minim molestiae

Do I need modeling experience?

Not at all.
Every woman you see in my work is an everyday woman just like you and me.
This is not a modeling experience at all. This is you showing up for yourself and I will guide you through everything.

Do I have to get naked during the photoshoot?

Absolutely not.

Feminine Portraiture holds a wide spectrum. You can be fully covered, softly styled, or explore something more raw and minimal.

If you feel called to the fine art nude space, it’s available. If not, that is equally honored.
This experience is about you feeling comfortable, expressed, and seen—on your terms.

How many images will I receive?

You will receive 20 fine art portraits of your choice, presented in a beautifully curated album.

Your selected images will also be delivered as corresponding digital files in both color and black and white.

What if I want more images?

If you fall in love with more images, you’ll have the option to upgrade and add to your collection after you’ve viewed your gallery.

There is absolutely no obligation to purchase anything beyond what is included.

When will I see my images?

My intention is to carve out time during the retreat for you to view and select your favorite images.

Because this is a more intimate group experience, I want to allow space for this if it feels aligned within the flow of our days.

If timing doesn’t allow for an onsite viewing, we will schedule a private Zoom session approximately two weeks after the retreat for you to make your selections.

Either way, you will be guided through the process.

Do you only photograph in black and white?

No, I photograph in color.

Black and white just happens to be my favorite expression of the work. Your images are captured in color and then thoughtfully transformed into black and white as an additional option.

What is included in the retreat?

Your stay, daily portrait experiences, guided elements, and chef-prepared meals.

There are also additional experiences woven throughout our time together—morning stretch, sound bath, and a few fun moments I’ll keep as a surprise… think connection, a little play, and time together in a way that feels effortless.

You’ll also receive a curated swag bag designed to enhance your experience, featuring mostly handcrafted pieces created by women who align beautifully with this work.

Hair and makeup is included for your final shoot.

This is an all-inclusive experience once you arrive. Be prepared to feel like a queen.

Can I bring a friend?

Vix ut utinam feugait. Eu scribentur liberavisse nec. Dico fugit nostro cu pri, no putent nemore mel, ius at minim molestiae
