We are taking our photography studio on a road trip to Holden Beach, North Carolina, from April 13th to April 16th for a long weekend of beautiful beach portrait sessions. Imagine a photo session in your choice of our beautiful flowing gowns and dresses on the beach with the wind blowing through your hair... gahhhh, it is going to be incredible—the same queen for the day experience, just a different location. And yesss, absolutely yes, our most coveted wardrobe pieces are coming with us. Sessions to include hair and makeup by the one and only Mary Fay Smith of The Esti Method. Our entire team will be on location to ensure you are all glammed up and camera-ready every step of the way.
Feminine Beach Portraiture is perfect for women who are ready to celebrate themselves. This includes everything from a milestone birthday to a new season of life, Maternity, Senior Portraits, and Boudoir. The list of reasons is endless.... the bottom line, a Shira W Rose portrait experience is designed to honor and celebrate you as the beautiful feminine being that you are right now. Not 20 pounds lighter, I am not photogenic you, not what will I wear you... not I am too busy maybe later you... you right now. It is a reconnection experience for yourself that will change how you see yourself in the most positive and impactful way.
Our beach sessions are designed to provide the same luxe experience in an incredible destination location. Details of what's included are below. Please note that there are limited sessions available. Once you have booked your session, we will begin the process of creating your customized photoshoot experience.

What to expect.
Step 1
Pre-Session ConsulT
Preplanning can take a photoshoot to the next level. As your photographer, understanding your overall vision is essential to making that happen. Not sure what that vision looks like, don't worry; we can collaborate to get you there. Consultations take place via phone, Zoom, or in-person meeting. In a 20-30 minute window of time, we will discuss vision, wardrobe choice, and overall shoot plan. Missing a little something to make your outfit pop? As an added bonus, you will be granted access to use any item in our extensive studio wardrobe. Let’s just say it’s like playing dress-up at its best.
Step 2
Photo Session
We have secured a beautiful Holden Beach home as our base location. Upon arrival, we will review your wardrobe and shoot plan as we move you immediately into hair & makeup so we can pamper you and get you camera ready. Once hair & makeup is complete, we will move to the beach, where your guided photoshoot will begin. You will have up to three wardrobe changes. Our entire team will be present to support and assist you every step of the way. Although the photoshoot plan is well put together, be prepared to have fun throughout the entire experience. The Beach Portrait experience can be a minimum 3-hour session. Upon the conclusion of the shoot, the next time we meet will be via Zoom for your photo reveal.
Step 3
Image Selection
The image selection session will take place during a viewing appointment via Zoom. This package includes 20 professionally retouched images of your choice to be delivered in a beautiful custom-crafted 8x8 album. Corresponding digital image for each image purchased is also included in a downloadable online gallery in a 5x7 web-ready format. Want additional images? We've got you covered, the below price menu will include the cost for additional images. We even offer wall art options. Our entire experience is customized for you.

FAQ
What if I like more than 20 images included in the Beach Portrait package, can I buy more?
Absolutely!!! Although there is no expectation to purchase additional images, additional images are sold in increments of 5 for $450, or you can upgrade to the next level package. Be sure to ask about our custom wall art from Italy. It is exquisite.
Not sure what to wear?
No worries, we have you covered. We will discuss wardrobe at our preplanning consultation meeting. You are in great hands. Our team will make sure you will be camera ready.
Can I include my family?
Although the intention of the Beach Portrait session is for my female clientele, yes you can absolutely include your family in a portion of the session. Hair & make-up is reserved for you. Should we need additional hair & makeup services, it will cost an additional $150 for each person, and we would need to adjust the start time to ensure adequate time on the beach. Please note that family photo sessions are not my area of expertise but happy to accommodate if this is important to you.
Can we add a boudoir set into the session?
Yes, absolutely for an individual client, not a couple session. In this circumstance, we will begin the session with a boudoir at the Airbnb location and transition to the beach session for beauty portraits. Additional 45 minutes will be added to your session. Cost $275.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we offer short-term scheduled prepayment options and payment plans for up to 90 days for any purchases over $2,000. Please note that products or images will not be delivered until payment is made in full. Please understand that we are a small business and must have payment in full before we begin the fulfillment process. Once payment is made in full, we will send images to the album vendor for order completion. To secure the payment plan option a specified amount will be due weekly or biweekly until payment is made in full.
What if I need to reschedule?
This is a special destination shoot option. Deposits to hold your session date are nonrefundable. Understandably, we hire in advance hair and makeup artists, on top of incurring other costs and expenses to hold a session. Rescheduling is not an option in this scenario. An additional deposit will be required to book a future session.
